eTwinning - 2016/2017

September 19, 2017

The Senior Room is taking part in the eTwinning Erasmus+ project.  We have been twinned with Ecoile St. Joseph de Carquefou.  This is a primary school situated in the city of Carquefou which is located north west of France in the department of Loire-Atlantique of the French region Pays de la Loire.

The Senior Room created a video where they introduced themselves to their new French friends in the middle class (10-13 yrs) and then St. Joseph's reciprocated with their own video where they introduced themselves in French!  We are going to send a hurley and sliotar as a gift from the classroom.

Ms. O'Donovan did a presentation on our school and received an official eTwinning Certificate.  The name of our new friendship is called 'Friends en Forme'

We hope to start working on some exciting projects with them very soon.
