Storybird
'Storybird' is a creative writing app that children in the senior room use to share their writing to their classmates. You can make poems, picture books and long-form books. I wrote a book called 'The farm' - it is a long form chapter book. You can select from lots of art work to illustrate your books or just for inspiration. I really enjoy creative writing.

Seachtain na Gaeilge
Bhaineamar go léir an taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge an bhlian seo . Bhí feis bheag again ar scoil le amhránaíocht, ceol , danta , ranta agus drámaíocht . Bhí seans againn scánnán Gaeilge a fheicáil ar an clár bán agus rinneamar sár -iarracht Gaeilge a úsáid gach lá . Tuigimíd go léir gur bheatha teanga í a labhairt.

GAA at the Rockies
I love going to the Rockies for Gaelic Football. In Gaelic you are allowed to touch the ball with your hands and that is different to soccer where you are not. I love playing matches and being on a team with my friends. The coach is from St. Michael's Football Club. Usually I score lots of goals.

Book Week
On World Book Day we all dressed up as characters from our favourite books. It was very funny as alot of people had dressed up as characters from Harry Potter. This is a sign of how popular JK Rowling is for children in Ireland. Some people had made amazing costumes especially in the Junior Room where one boy had made a cardboard Minecraft suit. During World Book Week we had a big book quiz and we looked at videos of interviews with our favourite authors and illustrators.

Senior Room Science Fair
On Wednesday the 12th of March 2019 we had a Science Fair and it was alot of fun. Pupils in the senior room each did a little project, we could work individually or in pairs. My project partner was Jenny and we did 'Will it float?' Other project were volcanoes, coke eruptions, lava lamps, and Ooblek. The Junior Room had alot of fun experimenting with us and I thought it was a wonderful experience
